John is involved in community work and financially supporting a number of causes since 1980. He has been involved in providing necessary medical equipment to the Royal North Shore Hospital to improve the medical services in the area and has also supported a number of charitable organizations such as the Northbridge and Crows Nest Rotary Clubs and the Humpty Dumpty Foundation among many other charities.
